? - CCIEs and Candidates, have you changed your job?

I was thinking about this the other day...

Those of you who have their numbers or are pursuing your numbers,

Have you...

A. Changed jobs after getting your numbers
B. Changed jobs while pursuing your numbers
C. Got your numbers but haven't changed jobs cus your employer rewarded you
D. Got your numbers and nothings changed

I fall in the "D" category and I'm wondering if I'm leaving opportunities both financial and technical (meaning the chance to work on exciting projects, equipment, etc) on the table...

Back to the Real World...

Back from CiscoLive! (formerly known as Networkers) and it was a great experience! San Francisco is ok and just ok, too many strange people on the streets. A great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

Learned a great deal, what with all the tech sessions and all but I would have to say the best was the closing keynote given by Guy Kawasaki. He's a managing director for a venture capitalist firm, former Apple evangelist, and author among other things. He's a captivating and entertaining speaker but he's also very interesting. He spoke about the Art of Innovation and highlighted 10 and half points (his slides got misnumbered). If you ever have a chance to hear him speak or meet him, I wouldn't pass up that opportunity.

I think the event overall was great and would recommend every "cisco" guy to go once in their career.

Back to the real world in my real small and dark cube...
