I have to say, now that I've completed 2 of the labs in volume 3, that they're are pretty challenging and I'm STILL learning new things...
I really like the video breakdowns for the labs in volume 3 found in the Blended Learning Solution HD. It gives a really good way to review and understanding of the tasks.
Tomorrow I tackle lab 3.

12,13 and 1?
Yes, I stopped after lab 13... maybe not a good idea if your superstitious but I'm on Volume 3, finished Lab1.
My expectation of Lab1 wasn't the same as my initial thoughts. I expected it to be harder and while I didn't answer every question right, I didn't think it was tremendously different from Vol2 labs. Still, I've only done 1 and it may be to early to tell.
Tonight, I'll be watching the review of the lab in my Blended Learning Solutions Hard Drive and probably comment on the breakdown when I'm done.

9, 10 and 11.
9 and 10 were definitely more challenging then 11. I got through 11 pretty easily, I would almost say that it was the easiest so far but I'm not sure if its because I've had 10 labs under my belt or if it really was easier. Either way, I'll take what I can get as far as confidence goes.
9 and 10 I couldn't measure accurately, I had some technical difficulties while doing 9. 10, I was distracted with some personal issues but mostly it was lack of motivation. I need to review these 3 and then try and finish up the last 4 soon.

Finished 7 and 8 (dropped the letters)
7 was ok.
8 Kicked my Butt! Maybe there's a pattern, every 4 is difficult? I say this cus an acquaintance had suggested that 12 or 13 was pretty difficult as well.
I think I might tackle those two this weekend. At the same time I'm doing these labs, I'm doing a post lab review and then after that I'm reading, yes reading, through Narbik's workbooks again, trying to imagine the CLI and configs I'd enter when reading the tasks.
On to the review.

C,D,E, and F.
I'm moving at a decent speed through the 8 hour multiprotocol labs. I'm beginning to pick up speed, have a set process in place for when I start and it seemed to be going well... until I got to Lab D.
I have no idea what happened but I totally blew it with Lab D, I got down on myself and then I did the inevitable, just picked myself up and kept going.
There are 15 in total in volume 2 and I'm wondering how close do they mirror the real lab.
There are another 10 in volume 3 that I haven't even cracked open.
So what I've been doing is reviewing the labs I've done the next day, writting down lessons learned (and I'm actually still learning technical nuances, which I thought I wasn't going to be doing). The good thing is that there aren't MANY, MANY unfamiliar things. The bad thing is I have no idea how much more difficult the next labs or even the next volume will be.

Completed Section A and B IPExpert Vol2.
So I've started on 8 hour multiprotocol labs from IPExpert. Specifically Vol2. I was able to do it on ProctorLabs.com equipment and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I like the fact that you can save and load configs, powercycle routers, and it's pretty intuitive.
My first impressions of the first 2 labs was that it was relatively easy. I'm not saying I got every task right though. From my attempt at Section A, I learned to redraw the diagrams, read the lab over once fully, and start working on my alias and shortcuts that help me configure the routers faster.
I'm going to try and get through all 15 of Volume 2 and supposed they get gradually more difficult. And Vol3 more so. My question is, how do I know what level of practice exam/mock lab is similar to the real exam?
Either way, I'll just keep on trekking.
