So I'm essentially done with my review of the workbooks, I'm about to start full 8 hour labs, starting this weekend!
I'm using Proctor Labs and my opinion is that their setup is pretty intuitive! ProctorLabs works in conjunction with IPExpert, whom have been a great resource for me.
Will update again after this weekend.

Done and on to reviewing.
Done with all the workbooks and have begun reviewing my notes and the workbooks over again. The 2nd time around is much easier.

6.5/7th of the way there... almost...
I'm on the last bootcamp workbook and I finished up BGP, there's a few short sections before QoS. Qos takes up about 100+ pages and then I'm done with it all! ... for the first time through, I'm hoping the 2nd time through will be much faster, especially since I've been taking notes as I 've been doing the tasks.
1 more pass of all the workbooks before Feb. And then comes the practices tests... yikes.
Anyone have an opinion on who has the best practices tests, IPExpert, Internetwork Expert, CCBootcamp, etc?

5/7th and then some.
Forgot to post when i was done with Vol 4. I finished it minus the IPv6 section. I'm on to BootCamp Vol 1 and I'm about a third of the way done with that, still on the switching portion about to tackle QinQ tunneling.
So far so good, I think I'll be close to starting to work on IPExpert stuff, I have ton of their material and I'm looking forward to the Multiprotocol 8 Hour labs.

4/7th of the way done.
So I finished Volume 5, took a lot of notes which I'll definitely need to review. I'm going back to Volume 4, still skipping IPv6 until I figure out where I can practice. Next up is NAT and then IP Services.
Keeping the motivation and focus high.

3/7th Completed.
Finished up Volume 3, I'm on to Volume 4 but will be skipping IPv6 until I can figure out a way to get my hands on a rack that I don't have to waste time cabling/configuring.
I'm thinking of skipping Volume 4 for now entirely and moving onto Volume 5 since it covers QoS and Multicast amongst other things. Volume 1-3 covered IGP, Switching, and BGP. Now comes the other technologies that overlay on top of the core material.
I need to keep the intensity and focus up :)

Happy New Year! Santa/IPExpert was very nice to me!
Happy New Year!!!
It's been a great holiday/vacation and it's coming to a close, I'm back in the saddle starting tomorrow! I've got a new sense of purpose and vigor and determination, I hope it lasts for the next couple of months.
I plan on hitting the books pretty hard and will maintain a vigorous work ethic, I figure there's no benefit in prolonging the inevitable. Intense studying for a short period of time, that's what my resolution is :)
Thanks to the guys at IPExpert! Santa was very VERY generous this year! I won a 5 day boot camp to one of their classes in 2009!!! It's a fantastic way to start off the New Year! I've had excellent dealings with the folks at IPExpert and I wish them continued success in 2009... just as they wish their customer/students!
On a previous note, I did get in touch with Narbik and we discussed what happened and worked it out. I'm still waiting for some of the material but I have enough to keep me pretty busy.
